Abstract

The support holds the equipment against the ceiling so as to allow it to unstick the paper covering it, typically by steaming. It is form of a telescopic post (1, 2) bearing against the floor and containing a spring (3) tending to extend it, while allowing its partial retraction. The top end of the post has a pivot joint (7) for a plate (8) carrying a clamp (9) fitting around the handle (10) of the equipment (11) to be mounted on it. The post can have a removable section replaceable by one of a different length, to allow its use in rooms of different heights, and screw adjustment can be provided for its height also. At the bottom there can be a shoe (12) on a pivot mounting or with a convex surface, to allow the post to be inclined (19) in relation to the floor.
