Abstract

Hydroelectric scheme is climed for laminating a flow of water and making it pass above a barrier, esp. on a turbine or between two top (summit) turbines and making it pass subsequently the length of an immersed profile and between two horizontal turbines, or after the immersed flow, between a deflector and a bottom turbine. The energy thus absorbed is transmitted to AC and DC generators by means of one of the turbine axes (barrier shafts.) When several such barrier are used in series, the barrier shafts can add their energy onto a common works arbor, connected to an alternator. The AC or DC is used to effect electrolysis of dilute aq. NaOH or KOH to produce H2 and O2 which are drawn by pumps into gasometer tanks and pushed into an exit motor, of pumps and electromagnetic vanes controlled by an electronics device. This motor drives groups of alternators. Thus all flows are utilised by cutting off the flow from the turbines, and by the distribution of energy of the collected hydrogen during the course of the year. The device can be provided with electricity from the network so that the electrolysis is rheostatic. The hydrogen is used in the driving the engines. The device permits sepn. of hydrogen isotopes. Differential barriers are arranged in series calculated with respect to the flow and the strongest possible flow, the total disturbance available between the first and last barriers, and the energy for which the disturbance between two barriers of the series.
