Abstract

The machine has a matrix supporting surface on which printing and heating matrices are mounted. The outer surface of the heating matrix is closer to the supporting surface than the printing matrix. A strip of sheets with a transferable skin pass between the heating matrix and a printing support surface. An inking device moves in relation to the supporting surface and inks the printing matrix only, passing over the heating one and clear of it. The strip of sheets is fitted between the heating matrix supporting surface and the printing support surface in a selected position. No strip is inserted under any printing matrix.
