Abstract

The case (10) is formed by two flat rectangular sheets (12, 14) which are hinged together along one edge. The inner surface of at least one of the sheets (12) is provided with a number of reinforcing struts with a rib, defining the circular aperture for receiving the record disc. Preferably the reinforcing struts run diagonally across the internal surface of the bottom sheets (12) between the two pairs of diagonally opposed corners, and the rib defining the aperture for receiving the record is in the form of a circle whose diameter is equal to the width of the sheet (12), with further struts dividing the sheet into four equal parts.
