Abstract

Red and green light emitting diodes (DL2, DL2) are mounted in parallel opposition between the collectors of two (NPN) transistors (T1, T3) with a third transistor (T2) connected to the base of one of them (T3). Its base is connected through a resistor (R6) and diode (D2) is series to a probe (3) which is common to the base circuit of the first transistor (T1) and comprises a resistor (R5) and diode (D1) in series. The circuit is assembled in a cylindrical probe with the probe conductor (3) protruding. Two conductors permit connections to power supplies. The light emitting dioes show red for ligic (1) or green for logic (0) signals.
