Abstract

The structure for a sports hall etc., is designed for simplicity and speed of erection whilst affording direct ventilation and obviating thermal imcompability of cover sheet and support structure. An upper external system of mast and guys supports the cover sheet and cables of a lower system follow the inner surface of one wall of the cover sheet at suitable intervals, anchoring at the base of the wall and connecting to the cover sheet at guy suspension points, these connections constituting e.g. pulleys.
