Abstract

The operating motor is located under the table foot and the mechanism is fitted into a housing (13) fixed around the pedestal (16). The first movement raises the table top (17) by means of a pegged bush (1, 3) rising in a cam groove (15) around the pedestal top (14). The intermediate sleeves (5, 10) remain stationary but are elevated by springs (12). The second movement, caused by a pegged sleeve (4, 5) held against a vertical groove (2), operates articulated levers (6, 8, 9) attached to the extension leaves (7) and extends these outwards. The springs (12) push a plate (10) upwards, this also moving the pegged sleeve (4, 5) into the upper part of the groove (2) locking the assembly.
