Abstract

Fencing element comprises a central portion of elongate section with an open, semicircular longitudinal recess at one end extending through more than 180 degrees. and at the other end a cylindrical longitudinal projection of corresponding curvature for engaging in the recess of another fencing element to form an articulation about the longitudinal axis of which each element may be displaced relative to an adjacent on both sides of its axial plane. The angle of articulation is limited to not more than 70 degrees by bearing surfaces consisting of the ends of the recess and the neck of the projection. The fencing element is pref. made of coloured, extruded plastics.
