Abstract

The tubular section which slides along the fishing rod has a clamp-piece at each end with raised pieces for easier grip, to fix it in position. Each clamp-piece has an internal thread acting in conjunction with the external thread at each end of the tubular section. Each clamp piece has an annular, conical inside cavity opposite a radial surface on the end of the tubular section. A soft intermediate piece is inserted into the inside cavity. Two attachments fix the foot of a fishing reel onto the tubular section. The first attachment is firmly fixed to the outer part of the tubular section. The section attachment is positioned opposite the first. An internally threaded nut is fixed to an extension of the outer thread.
