Abstract

The purpose of the invention is to provide interchangeability of cutter blades on rotary lawn mowers, which is achieved by means of a blade plate capable of being fitted to all known makes of lawn mower. The plate is also fitted with fan blades to blow out the grass cuttings. The blade plate (2) is fitted with means of attachment (3, 4, 5, 6) to various models of lawn mowers. Fan blades (8) integral with the plate suck the grass upwards into a good position for cutting and remove the cut grass. Blades (10) can be attached by various holes (21), nearer or further from the centre of the plate according to the size of the mower housing.
