Abstract

The chimney operates with several different fuels, the boiler hearth forming the fireplace, while the boiler is equipped with controls for the feed and discharge water. Its hearth can be open to form the fireplace, and a removable guard an be hooked onto it when burning liquid fuel. The combustion air can be brought in from outside, and with a standard grate coal, wood, or any combustible rubbish can be burned. The grate can be interchangeable with oil and/or gas burners, and the system can be made adaptable to suit any system of hot-water central heating.
