Abstract

The body is particularly for supporting the hand on a crutch, and is of flexible material ensuring continuous aeration at least of the part on which the hand bears, via the cells formed in the material. This part is of considerably increased thickness and width, or is expanded to increase comfort and suppleness. It can be produced by injection moulding and of expanded PVC, polyurethane with skin or other varieties of such material, forming a honeycomb section. The additional thickness and the increased width can be in the half above the lengthwise aperture in which the crutch handle fits, from the wider end where the fingers grip and the body is secured to the other wider end where it is fitted over the handle.
