Abstract

The linking piece designed to join two open or closed sectional girders end to end along their longitudinal direction is designed to enable the girders to resist traction forces tending to pull the joint apart. Each sectional girder has protuberances extending inwards situated one in relation to the other as object and image in a mirror and having inclined surfaces between which is fitted the linking element having two parts. The linking element has hollow spaces and inclined surfaces. The two parts may come together or be separated by means of a pulling or compressing screen or a rivet.
