Abstract

The frame comprises uprights forming the rear legs (1) and the back (2), two sides bents to form the seat supports (4) and the front legs (3) and a horizontal rear bearer (5). Across the front a curved plastic strip (6) provides a bearing surface. The seat has a shaped top (7) with the rear curved 180 deg. on itself to give a form (9) which envelopes the rear bearer (5). The front of the seat has a curved surface to conform with the front bearer strip. A flange (11) clips into a groove (12) under this. Each side of the seat is also curved downwards to fit over the sides (4).
