Abstract
A memory (C1) records the initial value of the velocity (Vo) at the commencement of the time measurement. A comparator (A2) provides the velocity variation (DELTA V) by subtracting the initial value (Vo) from the current value (V). A differential comparator (A3) determines the sign of the variation (DELTA V). A system (R) conveys the absolute value of the velocity variation (DELTA V) to a second comparator (A4) which compares this with a fixed reference value and initiates, via a bistable circuit (Bi), the stopping of the time measurement by counter (CH) when the two values are equal. A memory records the time measured in order to feed it to control and regulation equipment during the subsequent measurement operation. There is also a system of sequential command for the reading operations.
