Abstract

A set of calculating rulers consists of a series of n rulers. Each ruler is valid for a given speed vn (4) of the aircraft. Each ruler has a time scale (1a, 1b) graduated in a progressively increasing manner from one extremity of the ruler to the other extremity and in time unit to each graduation interval (5) being equal to vn x t x e where e is a coefficient equal to the scale of the map used.
