Abstract

A casting mould is made of plastic material consists of halves which register together on a parting plane. Cooperating fastener elements are formed integrally on the mould halves. The mould is used e.g. for casting decorative or fancy candles with a central wick. The invention avoids trouble from loose clamps of metal moulds which are easily lost and difficult to manipulate being small. The mould is also cheaper to make that where separate fastener elements are permanently attached e.g. to a metal mould.
