Abstract
A housing (2, 3) contains a thermally expansible material (16) and a mechanism can be displaced by the action of a membrane (1), or other deformable body, in contact with the material. The expansible material is constituted by a first base material (13) which has a constant cubic expansion coefficient, as a function of temperature, and a second base material (14) comprising one or several bodies whose cubic expansion coefficient increases within a given temperature range. The first base material is typically a methylpolysiloxane oil and the coefficient charge of the second base material which is typically a petrol wax is due to crystalline charges.
