Abstract

A membrane for a hydropneumatic accumulator as in the main patent has a rectangular section securing ring of suitable proportions to assist assembly of the membrane with the ccummulator vessel. The ring is designed to prevent kinking, the height of the rectangle being greater than its width. This height is equal at least to 1.5 times its width, preferably 2.5 to 3 times its width. The outside diameter is slightly less than the housing surface of the hemisphere and its inside diameter is slightly less than its seating on the membrane.
