Abstract

The seat structure (9) is formed of a deformable parallelogram at one end of which is a knob (10) and at the other end a roller (11). There are two other rollers (12) (13) which slide in apertures (14) (15) at the same level. There is an inclined slot (16) in which the first roller (11) operates. The rear of the seat is provided with an adjusting mechanism consiting of screwed parts (38) (39) fitted to the seat structure (9) and from which a support (35) goes to the pivot point for the seat back frame (4). Around this point is also pivoted the support for the complete seat assembly (22). The advantage of this adjusting system is a possibility of regulating not only the seat position in the vehicle, but also its height.
