Abstract

Two or more sieve boxes are movably mounted on a supporting frame, each being connected to it by a deadbeat link. The boxes are connected to each other by elastic devices whose natural frequency is equal to that of an out-of-balance mechanism mounted one one of them. The boxes can be of the same size, and they can be attached to the base by leaf springs. The boxes can be mounted alongside each other and joined by the elastic devices. Alternatively they can be solidly joined together and alongside or one above the other, a third box fitting between them and being joined to them by the elastic devices.
