Abstract

Each step, angled (3) or straight (1), incorporates part of the supporting stringer (2, 4). These parts of the stringer have cavities (5) wich are used as shuttering for reinforced concrete reinforcement. The concrete is poured into the cavity (5) thrugh holes (6) in the top of each step. The holes (6) are covered, after construction, by sheets (7) or a cladding sheet. Pins projecting from the base are inserted into a first step (1 or 3). The construction system can be used for right or left hand turns and relatively complicated shapes, the staircase being easily and rapidly produced.
