Abstract

The fitting is used especially as a support for a rotating and tilting window for keeping this window in open position by means of a support lever and a stop. The supporting system has a rotating connecting element which is arranged horizontally between the underside of the supporting lever and the upper side of the strip on the fixed frame. The connecting element, which is subject to braking forces, is connected to the pin on the support lever. The brake force is generated on opening of the window by rotating the locking element of the supporting linkage and this prevents closing. The pivot connecting the supporting lever to the fixed bearing forms the upper rotating axis of te rotating frame. The connecting element is pivoted, and it has a central slot enclosed by two jaws which engage with the pin in the swivelling support lever.
