Abstract

The machine may be towed behind a tractor fitted with a power take-off point. It consists of a bin opne on one side. The open side carries a rotary feed mechanism which will enable the silage to be loaded into the bin. The rotary feed mechanism is operated by the tractor power take-off. The bottom of the bin is fitted with an endless conveyor which lines up with a discharge chute. The conveyor slope may be varied at will. The angle of the bin may also be varied by means of a hydraulic ram. These variations ease the filling and discharge of the silage.
