Abstract

A chromatography column comprises two fluid-tight, removable pistons inside a transparent body, opt. being cooled by liq., and having a fluid-tight, fixed cap supporting a filter and a slidable cap carrying a diffuser. Pref. the lower piston is sealed by means of two plastic pieces comprising a toroidal joint. The filtration grid is pref. porous and inert. System prevents the formation of drops or turbulances in the device.
