Abstract

Each bottle (2, 3) is moulded with a protruding band (6) around its circumference. This is at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the bottle and has a flat top. Bands are generally in groups of two, with a space between wider than the band, forming a groove (7). One group is at the top, another at the base, of the bottle. When packed together, the bands and grooves fit together to prevent individual movement between bottles. Straps around the top and bottom of the packed bottles give a rigid unit which can be carried by a handle pushed over two convenient bottle necks.
