Abstract

The aerial comprises a fixed structure made up of three legs (1, 2, 3) anchored to the ground and a moving structure movable in all directions. A reflector (5) is connected at three points to he fixed structure by means of a ball and socket joint (10) situated at the top of the pyramid forming the fixed structure, and at two lower points (7, 8) situated on the two arms (2, 3) of the pyramid. The connections at the lower two points are by two linear mechanical jacks (11, 12) which, upon a combined action, permit a limited rotation of the reflector about the upper joint (10). The jacks may be controlled manually or automatically to lock the reflector on the correct beam axis.
