Abstract

The contact element holder is channel-shaped and is designed to hold a plug-in contact element coaxially inserted. Its bottom has a slot over nearly whole length, wide enough for insertion of the contacts element meral component. Its side walls have contacts near their middle which project inwards, the distance of which from each other is smaller than the corresponding dimensions of hte contact element, so that the corresponding dimension of the contact element, so at least near the contacts. The side wal ends are higher than the rest, so that they are there more resistant to bending outward. Their parts near the contacts are, therefore, more elastic and can firmly hold the inserted contact element.
