Abstract

The aerial comprises several telescopic sections (9, 10) with the bottom section (10) surrounded by the resilient sleeve (16) and the collapsed aerial housed in an insulating casing (12). The latter is enclosed by an aerial housing (2) which is fixed to a support and which is connected to earth and to the outer mesh (23) of the coaxial cable (21) associated with the aerial. The inner conductor wire (20) of the coaxial cable (21) is connected to the aerial via the resilient sleeve (16) surrounding the bottom section (10). The resilient sleeve (16) has a conductive tongue (18) with a clamp socket (19) at its end, the tongue being soldered to the inner conductor (20) of the coaxial cable (21).
