Abstract

The system is intended for use in chemically hostile environments, where electronic control of chemical or physical processes is required. These would include neutralisation of acids and detoxification where measurement of pH values could be used as a control parameter. The system is also suitable for gaseous environments. Overall dimensions are minimised to approximately 40cm X 20cm X 75cm and will have a basic box like structure, having a transparent front of some chemically resistant material. Electrical access is via some form of grommett type plug. Compartments carrying manually controlled elements may be held sealed by long bolts passing through and holding the opposing ends tight against the module walls.
