Abstract

The chuck is formed by a body which may be attached to a drill driving shaft having on its front surface, co-axial to the rotating axis, a hole for the tool-holder with a polygonal profile, inside which the tool-holder with a polygonal profile, inside which the tool-holder is fitted. It will hold the tool with the help of a pin. In the body, at least one locking element is assembled; it has a locking surface working together with the tool-holder's pin against which it can be fixed by rotation of a collar which is co-axial to the body and which has an internal cam track. The collar is, when a tool-holder is being positioned, automatically unlocked.
