Abstract

The two screens (2) are movable axially and longitudinally, and at least one screen is placed on the path of each light source (1) so as to diffract the light rays. A colourant is then introduced through an input (3) in one of the lateral faces of the light chamber, which diverges towards a plate (5) carrying a transparent support for refringent material comprising the image (9). The colourant is an inert solid, so that it can be recovered from the chamber after use. The plate (5) may be mounted on a bellows unit (4) to allow it to be displaced relative to the photographic appts.
