Abstract
In the automatic oil lubrication of a dough dividing depositor, of the type in which a piston draws a measured vo of dough from a hopper into a cylinder disposed diametrically in a drum which is then rotated through 90 degrees for the piston to discharge the separated dough piece, e.g. to a conveyor. The drum drive also actuates a pump to draw oil from a tank and deliver it to an annular channel in the circumference of the piston. an oil return line leads back from the channel,via a filter, to a decompression tank with an overflow return to the supply tank. Higher speeds, output and efficiency, combined with reduced breakdowns, are obtd.
