Abstract

Needle assembly for releasably fixing to a part of the body, comprising an assembly of a needle with a pointed end and a flexible bandage with a flexible fixing film having a pressure-sensitive adhesive surface capable of adhesion to the surface of the skin pierced by the needle, so arranged that the needle can be fixed to the flexible bandage-fixing film which together with the bandage can be folded along a longitudinally extending zone to form a folded flap-type handle for the needle. This makes it possible for the needle to be mounted in the patient without direct contact of the user with the needle, with a bandage not only serving as a handle but also being able to fix the needle in place and cover the position of the puncture.
