The process to recover useful matls. from synthetic polymer waste prodts., uses heat to fraction out the various components by their separate evaporation points, the residual components which are heavy and difficult to decompose being fed back to provide fuel for the heat source. The system prevents sec. contamination of the extracted matls. by conventional heating methods.
