Abstract

An account book with tear out pages, has a master page with columns in pairs across it, the first column of a pair showing a sum of money on each line, the second column giving the account reference. Horizontal, vertical and ground totals are made in the conventional manner. Superimposed on each master page are two sub pages with selected areas backed with carbon paper and which carry down one side a single pair of columns (3, 4) corresponding to one of the pairs on the master page, so that further entries can be recorded, relevant to given accounts and dates separately, which do not appear on the master page, so that sub totals for those accounts and dates can be made up.
