Abstract
The froth, produced in cells having a current above 2,500 amp/sq. ft., is discharged through a conduit having a cross-sectional are of less than 0.1 sq. ft/1000 amp., the conduit being shaped to induce the momentum change discharging the froth above the level of liq. in the separator. The conduit may have a bevelled end or curved end or end in a T-piece to induce the momentum change.
