Mixing appts. comprises an elongated casing housing a double helix rotatably mounted to feed material to the casing outlet. The conveyor comprises two helices located one within the other to rotate at different speeds. A third helix is rotatably mounted at the inlet end of the casing to pump material into the double helix conveyor.
