Abstract

Loads and shocks are transmitted directly to the case of the cleaner. The holding grip is positive. A lever (4) rocking about a boss (20) is held in a housing (8) on the casing. One end has a catch (3) to hold the accessory, the other has an extension (2) which keeps the lever in place. Pressing down the locking handle (5) turns a cam (13) about a pivot (14). This pushes the rocking lever down against the pressure of a spring (11). The cam has profile which ensures it remains locked until the locking handle is pulled up. The extension (2) projects part of the way through the casing.
