Abstract

Corner template for construction of buildings where formwork panels are used and it is essential to obtain perfect vertical alignment for both columns and panels. Corner columns (10) can have different sections according to the type of wall involved. Template (12) comprises rigid square steel plate (13) placed on upper horizontal face of column. Plate (13) is extended forward into the internal angle of the corner by means of an angle-plate (14) at 90 deg. to the main body of the plate. At the back of the plate (13) are two vertical flanges (15) pressed against external faces of the column, so that the template is securely placed on the head of the column. It is supported and aligned by means of an adjustable raking prop fixed to the floor. Wooden beams are supported by the flanges.
