Abstract

The invention describes an inflatable boat where the main floats consist of circular sectioned member curved in the shape of a horseshoe. The boat has a central member made of rubber which may be either inflated with compressed air or filled with fuel. The member may be used as a seat and rests on the concave upper surface of a rigid central reinforcing beam which is used as a fuel tank. The two compartments formed in the boat by the dividing central member and beam are blanked off at the ends by a membrane, and each compartment is fitted with a non return valve, which allows the compartments to drain.
