Abstract

Cover for palletised loads, made of any flexible material, designed to hold loads, for example parcels, in position on pallets or platform lorries etc. The cover consists of a rectangular centre section with triangular end pieces extended by strong straps. The cover is slightly concave along its axis, so that pulling on the straps tends to tighten its edges more than the centre, so holding the load in position. Any natural or synthetic fabric, with or without plastic or rubber coating, or netting can be used. The straps may have their ends folded to form U shaped sections which engage rails on the truck bed.
