Abstract

The decorative surround fits over the watch case and is secured to the latter by two projections (17') at either side of the surround (2) with a transverse bore, through which a rod (11) passing through the shoulders (8, 8') of the watch case (1) can be inserted. The rod (11) is secured to a plate (12) positioned between the shoulders, to allow it to be slide into and out of the bore in the projection (17') of the surround (2) for selective removal of the latter. The watch bracelet is attached by a further rod (10) nearer the ends of the shoulders (8, 8'). The surround has an internal cavity for accommodating the winder stem (7) of the watch, and a central aperture for the watch glass.
