Abstract

An incinerator partic. for treating industrial prods. comprises a longitudinal furnace of refractory material with an inlet and outlet at its ends, each closeable by a door >=1 burner disposed at the interior of the furnace close to the inlet, and a gas post combustion chamber communicating with the interior of the furnace close to the outlet. The furnace is disposed in a pit in the earth and has detachable inspection panels in its upper wall which is placed in the open air. It is used for incineration of car bodies and other industrial scrap.
