Abstract

A stirrup is attached to the bottom of the bucket by means of a hook (11) which fits on to the leading edge (12) of the bucket (2). The seating of the stirrup may be either circular or angled (9a & 9b) but the lengths of the circular arms must be less than a semi circle. The stirrup has a butt end (14) against which the pipe rests. The pipe is also supported by a sling (6) one end of which has a loop (10) which is attached to a hook (5) on the bucket. The point at which the sling is attached to the pipe is between the centre of gravit and the stirrup.
