Abstract

The auxiliary reflector is mounted inside the main one, and accommodates the lamp by means of a taper socket integral with the rear part of the reflector and open along one side. The lamp mounting has a mating taper plug section, with flats working in conjunction with others in the socket, into which it is inserted from below, the bulb mounting protruding through the opening in the side of the socket. The bulb contacts are connected to flexible wires, and means are included for securing the plug in the socket. The plug is extracted downwards from the latter via an opening in the lower part of the reflector.
