Abstract

The patent covers a wheel which gives easy fitting and removing but avoids involuntary shedding after tyre puncturing. the appts. consists of fixed bridge like pieces which tend to restrain shedding forces. These are screw retained for easy removal of a tyre when required and extend across the annular channel formed in the outer surface of the wheel rim to draw the annular seats for the tyre towards each other. Several variations are covered and applications can be made to various kinds of wheels.
