Abstract

Two piece electric cable terminal block comprises a base and screw on cover. The base houses the main cables and the cover receives the secondary cables at right angles to the main cables. The cables are independently clamped against the base by screw clamps which are housed in the cover. Where the blocks are used to clamp two cables at 90 deg. to each other, the uppermost terminal block or cover is shaped as an inverted 'U' with a screw clamp in the bend of the 'U' bearing down on the top of the bottom block. The bottom block is 'U' shaped and clamps for the second cable screw down from the broad flanges of the cover.
