Abstract

The boiler block, comprising four boilers, is situated in the middle of the station, with two machine rooms along two sides, each containing two groups of turbo-alternators. Above the boiler block is a single, common chimney, with the same number of vert. flues as there are boilers. The boiler block and chimney are contained in a single tri-dimensional structure supported by pylons consisting of four uprights and a main girder.
