Abstract

High efficiency internal fittings for the dispersion or suspension of heterogeneous chemical mixtures comprise chicanes for circular section fixed to the housing wall and pref., arranged at intermittent levels, one above another. Each chicane consists of plates and partitions parallel to the direction of flow and both axial and radial relative to the rotor shaft. Chicanes are open at top and bottom, and may be star-shaped or polygonal etc.
